If they had a conscience they’d be embarrassed by how often they’re wrong.
It’s funny that they use Royal Birkdale as an example. That whole portion of the coast is growing in land mass with silt rather than disappearing into the water.
One mile north Southport pier is famous for being dry most of the time -
I learned to drive on the sands there in the 60’s with no worry about high tides...:^)
