[Reuters] In the two years since Washington lifted a 40-year ban on oil exports, tankers filled with U.S. crude have landed in more than 30 countries, ranging from massive economies like China and India to tiny Togo.
The repeal has unleashed a flood of U.S. shale oil, undercutting global crude prices, eroding the clout of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and seizing market share from many of its member countries.

Yeah, funny how quick things turned around after Trump too over.
Theres an argument that says we should keep ours in the ground or use it at home.

I’ve heard that one before, like decades ago. Just part of the idiot arguments to keep us from being energy independent. We have an overabundance of product so why not control the market? We’ve been jumping to OPEC’s tune as long as I can remember. Time we straightened things out to our benefit. It also relieves Russia’s stranglehold on our European Allies. We supply their needs instead of Russia holding them hostage as they have done for years.
