Its never been safer to be a P.O.
Its the safest blue collar job in America.
Your friend needs to seek professional help for his delusional paranoia and not carry a weapon until he is well.
Who’s delusional? I don’t know where you get your info but being a LEO is ranked 9th most dangerous job in the US. It happens to be my cousin & he isnt suffering from paranoia, he is a fine Deputy 2018 already 13 line of duty deaths!
Cops don’t even make the top ten.
“Common victims include cab drivers and cops. Fifty-one police officers were killed on the job in 2016, according to BLS (not including traffic deaths). Thats a 50% increase from the 34 police homicides in 2015, but still historically low compared to the early 1990s. The 2016 figure includes five Dallas police officers who were fatally shot that July by a gunman who said he was upset by police shootings of black men.”

I’m unsure if Ive run across someone who argued that law enforcement is a safe job right under a headline about an on the job ambush and murder of an officer.
Which, incidentally, never happens to welders or plumbers at their job sites as a general part of their day. Or any blue collar job I am aware of.
Would you give me a couple of blue collar jobs that you consider dangerous? Not trying to argue or pick. Honestly curious.
