I guess those “hundreds” must have been smart enough to simply walk out of the way.
The point I was making was that if sea levels are rising, the path would be gone—and its still as it has been for half a millennium.

If true that sea levels will rise 2 feet in 82 years, so what. The port facilities and homes will be rebuilt anyway during that time period. Raise them up ten feet when they are rebuilt, good for 500 years. You’re welcome!
