Reminds me of the very first joke I heard among Americans traveling in Asia. A newly arrived American gets invited to a big reception where dozens of young ladies in cheongsams (those silk dresses that reach to the ankles but are split at the side to the hip) are serving food and drinks. He gets into a conversation with an older American and says "How long have you been traveling out here?" The older guy replies "For years." "Does your wife come out here with you?" The other guys gets an odd expression on his face and says "Why on earth would you bring a cheeseburger to a banquet"?
I am sure he had a good time, but what does this have to do with these North Koreans. They are not at all banquet level.
What makes it worse is the knowledge they are not funny at all. Give a Cuban of any look any day. Love these people, young or old, always make me smile. That is all a man needs for a stress free happy life.
