People are still burying their dead.
Parents are still mourning over children who will NOT be specially honored for being a hero only because they weren’t ROTC.
I have NO problem with them getting medals posthumously but could you at least wait a WEEK after the event so that all the dead teachers and students can receive relatively equal memorials so a non-ROTC parent doesn’t have added burden of wondering if her child will ever be remembered as the ROTC kids were?
