But why doesn’t someone start a new service?

I’ve long been waiting for a conservative alternative to liberal social media and wonder myself why several have not emerged. We can not fight the left without communication and organization. Looking further, it appears to me these acts of censorship might be violations of some sort. Would hope some conservative legal experts might file a lawsuit.

“But why doesn’t someone start a new service?”

There are some.

I think what is making them harder to break into the mainstream is that big brands aren’t utilizing them, and everyday people really can barely deal with one service to add a second, and lots of times some real extremist loons, who just get off trying to see who can be the most outrageous, get there first and make the first-impression people have one that makes them go “nope”.

Minds.com and Gab.ai are making a good honest go

The Left have gone completely off the rails, and by doing so they are creating some very real opportunities for people willing to take advantage.
I too wonder where the Conservative alternative to Social Media madness is.
