In other words, they are cutting ties with the US Constitution, because the NRA is basically set up to preserve our constitutional rights. People need to make that point.

Glorifying violence, training kids to shoot "people" with no thought for their humanity, blurring the distinction between fantasy and reality? Blame movies, TV, video games - THEY are the ones doing that. There were far fewer school shootings when we had virtually no gun laws.

The NRA is the gun-hugger equivalent of Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton. They do just enough to keep controversy stirred up so they have an excuse to extort money from their supporters to “continue the fight”.

Here in Arkansas last year - they betrayed gun owners by lobbying for a horrendous limitation to an otherwise almost decent bill to allow firearms on college campuses... but the NRA worked with our RINO Governor to put all sorts of crazy restrictions after the bill had already made it out of committee and had progressed in the House...and was on the way to passage... So the newly amended bill - that actually made a huge mess out of the former bill - finally passed... actually resulting in far more confusion and restrictions on many law-abiding citizens - and also restricting the rights of those who have a CHCL...

No thanks.

OH - wait - the NRA is also the same NRA that helped PASS the last “Assault Weapons Bill”. The same NRA that has lobbied IN FAVOR of “high capacity magazine restrictions”. Blah Blah Blah...
