Steph Curry: Trump Revoking Warriors’ W House Invite a ‘Rallying Point’ for the Entire Sports World

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry sat down with CNN’s Van Jones for an interview and the All-Star guard discussed President Donald Trump revoking the team’s invitation to celebrate their championship at the White House after Curry and his teammates suggested they were not interested in going.

Curry told Jones that it was “surreal” to have the president tweeting about him, adding the revoked invite was a “rallying point” for the sports world.

“[Trump] kind of, you know, took that power away from us and didn’t allow us to have that process to come to the decision [to go] as a group,” Curry said. “Obviously, I think, that was a rallying point, not just for our team, but the NBA and, for the sports world in general, I think.”

Great basketball player, but a dunce making a senseless statement here. His team members and him said they wouldn't go to the President's Invite, so what's up with him now?

POTUS Trump rescinded an invite that was already declined by Curry and his team and poor cry baby Curry has hurt feelings?

Every time I hear Curry opine on something not b-ball related it brings to mind a news article from a few years back when the Warriors were struggling. Curry was not playing well and some on the team resented that he was playing at all. In the article one team member thought that Curry was not ‘black’ enough to play basketball and be the team captain, obviously referring to the fact that Curry was not raised in the ghetto but is the child of two successful lawyers and was raised in a upper middle class environment. Curry never has to steal his tennis shoes or contend with gang pressure.

Apparently he is still black enough to make stupid comments.

So...he’s pissed that Trump preempted their intention to turn him down?

Well, that’s hilarious. DJT (and America) wins, AGAIN.

I love it, Mr. President. Keep up the good work!

Curry never learned the Michael Jordan maxim: Republicans also buy tennis shoes. If Curry continues to flap his gums he can expect fewer and fewer ad dollars.

I am sure there are other people that I probably dislike even more than these two slime bags, but right now, I can’t think of anyone.

He’s forgotten how the process of invitation and acceptance works. I think he actually has it backwards.

Hate jocks? So did Euripedes. The Greek sage noted in one of his works the presence of Olympic athletes wandering around Athens making fools of themselves. Thankfully, we don’t remember the athletes, but we do remember Euripedes.
