You can NOT indict a sitting president for anything.

The mechanism for removing a sitting president is impeachment by the House followed by conviction by the Senate.

“You can NOT indict a sitting president for anything.”

I completely reject this claim. While some “experts” offer this opinion, no law or article of the constitution suggests this. In fact jail time upon conviction would not automatically remove the president from office. As a practical matter, prosecuting the chief executive would be next to impossible, but a president is not a king.
