This is why the GOP lost those other Senate seats, not bad candidates. (AL, IN, DE, NV, MO, etc.)
Oh, I absolutely agree. They did everything of which they could think to make certain a reform conservative did not win those elections. They do not want reformers in Washington DC, they want the same sort of influence selling oligarchs as already run that city.
They like the Washington DC money spigot going full force, and they will fight anyone trying to slow it down.
