Was it a case of "I really don't want to, the guy is a pig, but if I refuse I won't get the part..." ?
If the women did not IMMEDIATELY report it to the police as rape, then a case for consent could be made. As with the campus rape accusations along the lines of "He didn't ask for another date, I feel violated!"
A woman could have valid reasons for not reporting rape right away, however there are statutes of limitations on criminal charges. But, it would not negate the actual rape.
A woman who would have reported the rape, especially against this powerful bastard would probably have their career ended. The embarrassment and consequential shame stop many women from reporting rape. They know many people will say they deserved it.
