I don’t think people realize how important being compensated for intellectual property means to people. Artists, the people that give us songs, sculptures, tunes, and innovation have catapulted our society since we embraced it.
If you look at history, everything flat lined until we recognized intellectual property.
They don’t have to steal something that’s given to them.
Trump seems to be taking the USA in the right direction.
It is one thing to let our T-shirt factories be closed as that industry and other industries like it are sent to low wage countries.
However, when the USA allows its basic industries like steel, aluminum, or computer technology to be shut down, then who is going to make the materials needed for our tanks, warships, and planes?
The Chinese will say “What?! We don’t steal technology”.
About time. It’s crazy what is going on with them. Imagine if the US government colluded with Fortune 500 companies to steal technology from a British firm, or the like?
