President Donald Trump has grown irritated with his embattled Veterans Affairs secretary, David Shulkin, and is now making plans to remove him from his post, two sources familiar with the move tell CNN.
Trump has eyed Energy Secretary Rick Perry as a possible replacement, a person familiar with the matter said.
Trump and Perry discussed the possible move during a lunch at the White House Monday.

Hopefully Trump is going to dismantle the DoE and is now looking for a position for Perry.
Staff has their own lot in Houston. But there’s more staff than parking spaces. It’s a teaching hospital so they have a lot of “floating” doctors who come and go from other hospitals.
But there are more patients than there are parking spaces. I’ve seen the parking lots AND valet closed.
Or it might be that Perry asked to be considered for the job - no sense trying to start rumors because of one non-specific story.
I would not be surprised to hear that President Trump is doing some spring cleaning.
But I would prefer a second source when the first is this one.

It takes 30 to 45 minutes to park at The VA hosp in Dallas.
VA NEEDS TO GO TOTALLY PRIVATE, most Tricare Life users are private now because of the Income Cap.

Shulkin been in position a year still can’t fix bad VA hospitals. Memphis is one of the Highest ranking FAILURES, you can’t fire a Union gov employee no matter how incompent ot lazy.

Nor do I think Perry will do any better, NO experience. We need a multi-board system, a CEO for management, Veterans/Doctors care team. With more imput into congress and President. Why does the VA in Memphis sit in a WAR CRIME ZONE? Don’t get me started on Express Scripts they SUCK! The new Co-pays on low end generics sucks. Base Pharmacies are not geared to Seniors with disabilities. Only to active duty walk in’s. Brass have the good parking spaces. Factor in the hours Base Pharmacy is closed it makes it rough on seniors. EXS taking 2-3 weeks to fill a Script, 2 weeks refill, base might fill that day, but it’s a 5 day call to Pensacola for the TN region for refils.
The new Tricare roll out has been riddled with problems. Everything the government touches they screw up!
