Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been attacked and belittled by President Donald Trump more than Vladimir Putin has.

[SNIP]

Sessions’ recusal in the Russian investigation set in motion events leading to the appointment of Robert Mueller, and Trump will probably never forgive him.

Sessions may get caught up in the You’re Fired mood of the president, but, what about Sessions will be missed? He is incompetent. He has no confidence. Everything is under advisement. He has produced nothing but announcements, and that was certainly not the plan.

Meanwhile, while drawing a paycheck, he sits right on top of a two tiered justice system of which he does nothing.

It take balls to be president. Nixon was culpable, trump is not and Mueller has drifted way out of bounds. I don’t think americans are as stupid as you imply. When he gets Trump for writing a bad check when he was 20, you may change your mind.

If the trotskyites at NRO are singing your praises, you might be a deep-state compromised rat bastard.

The parallels are uncanny. Nixon was hated, detested and savaged by the press; so is Trump. Nixon received almost no Republican support once the ‘scandal,’ broke; Trump has getting close zero Republican support from the time Mueller was appointed (and, indeed, has been brutally attacked by his own party), Nixon’s crimes were blown completely out of proportion; Trump is being investigated for obstruction for A, simply doing his job, and B, wrong-think.

But you imagine that when the press goes hysterically nuclear, and the Swamp joins in, Trump somehow skates.

Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

Sessions is working a brilliant 5 dimensional chess game of prosecution. With his move clock set on statute of limitations as his first move. 7casepacker

Obama using the IRA and FISA makes Nixon look like a saint. That’s why my blood boils.

The jackass could have had Hitlery in irons the day of the inauguration. The FBI had the case built and Comey even admitted to her crimes. It is stunning that she and Obama have escaped prosecution.

I never did figure out where that idea of a “million sealed indictments” came from. Any day now, the ‘silent recuser’ is going to open that file and go to town...Really, he is. /rolleyes

If Sessions was the well meaning gentleman some people claim him to be he would have advised president Trump of his intent to recuse
himself and offered his resignation in the event that the president disagreed with his decision.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been attacked and belittled by President Donald Trump more than Vladimir Putin has.

Only because he deserves it.
Intentionally or through incompetence, Sessions is effectively protecting Hillary, Obama and the criminals in the DOJ, FBI and the State Department.

And he has made possible the bogus Mueller investigation of Trump/Russia collusion.

Remember, Sessions is responsible for the misery of every lower level person destroyed by Mueller for minor trangressions.

Sessions’ recusal in the Russian investigation set in motion events leading to the appointment of Robert Mueller,
and Trump will probably never forgive him.

Nor should the president forgive him.

President Trump gave Sessions the respect and honor of appointing him as Attorney General.

The first thing Sessions did out of the gate was stab the president in the back with his ill advised recusal.
In so doing, Sessions effectively handed management of the DOJ investigation over to the very Obama holdovers who need to be investigated.

If President Trump wanted an Obama holdover like Rod Rosenstein running the DOJ he would have picked one for the job of Attorney General.

Need to get our prosecutors and judges in place before moving forward for the kill. Don’t want to end up with an Obama/Clinton appointed judge.

I’m with you 100%. But Obama had the full and passionate support of his own party, plus the full support of most of the GOP. Trump is all but universally hated in DC. McConnell and Ryan would be the first to jump on the, ‘Trump must resign,’ bandwagon. Trump would be toast.
