It would be nice to see an engineers rendition of how this span was tensioned because it doesn’t make sense that they would do it on the top like that.

Not sure if this guy is an engineer, but is fed info by them. Did lots of updates on Oroville dam. Video is about 10 minutes long and gives a general idea on what may have happened and what experts will be looking for.

In some of the first images released, there was a blue cylinder on a rod(?) with a black line (hydraulic?) attached hanging in the rubble.
Appeared to be at the end of the slab with several feet of a rod (PT Cable?).

If so, a broken cable?
