Look at the end of the cable from the crane on the left. It moved in a twisting motion just before collapse.
According to the video in post 12, the crane was there to attach safety cables/harnesses to the workers on the bridge, and not for bridge support itself. That cable movement is likely the worker moving around.
Also, the same video shows one of the two workers falling out of the safety harness as the bridge collapsed.
