When, oh when are we going to weed out cops who have size 44 uniforms and size 4 hats. This is soooo unnecessary. Note to self, never “brandish” your cell phone when you are anywhere near a cop. Seemingly, they use any excuse to execute a citizen, and then say “oops, sorry missed that phone, thought it was a gun, my bad that I killed him!”
Nah, let's see FReepers break into BLM mode. Pathetic.
bingo, sick to death of bullies with badges
We can no longer weed-out those who are marginal or questionable.
I used to listen to local black talk radio.
Blacks think of jobs as police and firemen to be little more than good paying government jobs with security and benefits. They don't see them as public service. They see them as, basically, a cushy government job.
Whenever it was announced police and firefighters would be hired, the black radio hosts would tell their audience to apply because 'it's a good job with good money and benefits'. NEVER did they encourage their audience to become a cop to protect the black community.
That's why they push hard for affirmative action hires. They don't want black cops to protect black citizens. That's just what they say publicly. If it was about black cops protecting black citizens all the black cops would be stationed in minority districts (they're not).
The result, as I said, lowered the standards for everyone.
Seemingly, they use any excuse to execute a citizen, and then say oops, sorry missed that phone, thought it was a gun, my bad that I killed him!

You and several other cop-bashers need to watch a few episodes of LivePD on A&E on Fri-Sat evenings. They cover about 6-7 different areas of the country and how the LEOs interact with the citizens. Most are Sheriff Deputies in Counties in FL, TX, AZ, IN, SC, LA and more.
I will admit that most cities covered do not include Dem-ruled big cities like NYC, LA, CHI, etc., so the chance of viewing corrupt LEOs is unlikely.
If you saw the video and heard the audio, the guy was told multiple times to show his hands. If he subsequently reached into his pocket for his cell phone, I can understand why the cops did what they did.
So, if you are a cop and some thief is holding something in his hand, how long do you take to decide if he is going to shoot you or not?
