If Saudi Arabia expects to survive in this world, they must show Iran they can fight and win a ground war.

The best place to start is Yemen.

But under no circumstances should we have US ground/specops force in Yemen. Even though we do.

The only country I believe we should have any assets in is Israel. Every other backwards middle eastern country can go civil war themselves to the times before Christ.

The Sauds cannot and will not survive. They are a cancer on the world, having spread their Wahabbi ideology from Nigeria to paksitan to indonesia and into the USA, UK etc.

The Sauds are also an empire remember, formed in teh 1920s after defeating other tribes. It is not a "nation" it is rather a compromise between different tribes that they allow the Sauds to stay in power as long as they get money from the Sauds (oil money) and the Sauds compromised with the Wahabbs by using oil money to fund the Talibs, AlQ, Boko Haram, LeT etc. and makign MOhammadens become radical -- I can tell you for a fact that they have spread burkhas and radicalism in India, indonesia and the UK that wasn't there before the 90s

The Saudi empire will collapse when the money runs out. With the death of Salman, you will see a civil war within the SAudi family as the different branches (remember that Salman is the last son of the founder of Saudi Arabia - yeah, the entire kingdom has been tossed between sons) and the founder of Saud had nearly 80 sons and hundreds of grandkids.

There will be an inter-family war and then spread to other tribes taking their chance to leave

And the Saudi military is a joke -- the officers are appointed because they are princes/aristocracy. The soldiers are treated as servants. This is worse than a medieval army -- there is no espirit de corps, the Western military advisors see this uselessness

in the even of a war between the Sauds and Yemen you can see why the Sauds are unable to win.

If they fought Iran, they would be crushed, unless they sucker the USA to fight on behalf of the Sauds (remember that the Saudis suckered the USA to fight on behalf of the Sauds in Gulf war one -- the king said "I snap my fingers and American blue eyed boys are sent to die for me")
