Some folks have been convinced from June of 2015, that Trump would never grasp our goals and push toward them.

Some of them have come around. Others never will. And those who don’t, or don’t agree with our goals, will take pot shots at Trump as long as he is in the White House. They’ll be carping negatively in 2060.

Trump has already done more for our cause than anyone other than Reagan, and I believe is destined to surpass Reagan by the time he has completed his tenure.

Oh ye of little faith...

President Trump, thank you so much.

Trump is going to have Health and Human Services use that planned parenthood money for the Wall too.

The president has discretion in times of national health emergencies to re-task the money

That’s why he has spent the last several weeks declaring the opioid crisis as a national emergency

The guy thinks outside boxes folks didn’t even know existed.

He’s a real game changer, and thank heaven he’s on our side.

Lamebutt Limbaugh is coming around several days later. He’s been all fat, dumb, and happy rolling in the dough that he’s not as quick as he should be.

Well, better late than never. At a minimum, it shows he’s not completely stupid although we remember his badmouthing Trump during the 2016 campaign.

Here’s the skinny on what the Donald is pulling off:

Misstep or not, Trump is the only one fighting for us.

Those that leave the train over this are self serving and short sighted. We have two options, Trump or the Uniparty. To clarify the ‘self serving’ label - direct your anger, disappointment, and disgust at the authors of the bill and those that voted for it.

The aftermath of a veto would be:

Nonstop coverage of ‘Trump Shut Down the Governement’.
Most Gov. workers would resent Trump.
No politican would defend Trump’s actions.
The veto would be overridden

If the outcome is the same, is that battle worth fighting considering the negative optics outweigh the positive?

Many of us want the Uniparty called out, shamed, and fired. That’s our job.

That is profoundly correct. This is hardball game of politics Trump is fighting, not running for Pope. Standing on sure to lose "principles" and $2 might buy you a cup of coffee, but nothing more.

In the real, cold, hard, world of politics, winners get all the power, and losers can't pass any laws. Trump, the best and smartest president ever, well at least in my short lifetime, soon to celebrate my 78th birthday.

Fox News showed an example of a border fence that had spikes in top of it, but the spikes weren’t straight up like at the White House fence. Instead they pointing at three or four different directions which would make it very dangerous trying to climb over.

".@KellyannePolls on spending bill: "This is a town that not so long ago was mocking the very idea of a wall, and now they're giving billions of dollars for the funding of it."

The only money being spent is the 1.6 billion. Information out of the WH today refers to the money allocated. Nothing is being done about shifting money from the military. There will be no expansion of the border patrol and the detention levels will be reset to Obama levels. What fencing is being constructed matches previous fencing.

When Trump shifts 25 billion to build the wall, let me know. We are sold that a lousy 1.6 billion for the wall is to placate us while Sanctuary Cities, Planned Parenthood, Shumer's highway (and a host of crap) is fully funded.

And - all the while - Kelly Anne tells us that is Trump could build the wall himself he would.... What?

Are you always the doubting Thomas??

Trump has done more in his first year than Reagan accomplished in his 8. Trump is well on his way to keeping his campaign promises, yet, you whimper like a beaten pup.

If you guys keep on putting forth these arguments for President Trump I might switch sides back to him. I will admit I was disgusted, angry, and completely fed up with the rampant politics in this country after he signed the funding of the swamp for the next three years. But I am beginning to think that he has out foxed them again. I hope you are right. I would love to apologize for my behavior after the signing but I am also cautious and so will wait another month.
