The 291 page bill was not made public, and was inserted into a waste-sewage piece of legislation on Thursday, and then sent though the lower and upper chambers with Republicans carrying the bill.
Such vile tricks -- sneaking it through with waste-sewage legislation. These are the shenanigans we associate with the democrats. And then we see republicans (probably rinos?) doing the same. Is it any wonder the teachers have a distaste for republicans? These republicans have earned their disfavor. (Probably rinos trying to throw Kentucky to the democrats in the next election cycle.) As I've repeatedly said -- republicans need to clean out their own closet and get rid of the crap before worrying about competing with democrats.

I am glad someone else saw it this way. I understand the need for pension reform but there is also the matter of what the teachers were PROMISED as part of their hire. In any case sneaking the bill through is dishonorable.
