One thousand years ago Vikings were raising cattle in Greenland, when it was warmer than it is now. Historically, civilization thrives when the climate is warm and the barbarians destroy it when the climate is cold.
So why is it we want it to be cold?
So if you stop with a master's degree, you are off the hook, but those of us with three degrees are still to blame for global warming.
Saw robins a couple of days ago. Today we have a lot of chipping sparrows and a few brown-headed cowbirds at the feeders. They show up due to time of year rather than ambient temperature or type of precip. So much for the “settled science”.
Limiting global warming to two degrees Celsius will not prevent destructive and deadly climate impacts, as once hoped...
...probably because a 2 degree rise wasn't going to cause it anyway, nor is it likely to happen.
