Libby’s 30 month sentence was commuted. He was fined $250K and put on two years’ probation. His law license was later restored in 2016.
A mere slap on the wrist compared to what others would get. Washington takes care of its own because they don’t want their own to open up a can of worms that exposes the rest of them.
