Nadler and the other liberals are ballistic over illegals refusing to participate in the census, they know it'll cut down on their voter base and federal funding.

More Winning.

If it’s important for the census to know how many TVs I own, it’s important to know whether I am a U.S. citizen or not.

Ignore these lawsuits and get the census forms printed. Eventually President Trump is going to ignore Federal lawsuits and get on with restoring America.

The Dems’ hell-for-leather embrace of Marxism is bad enough but as usual they want to have their cake and eat it too.

They want House districts and apportionment of seats to favor them but they refuse to allow or endorse any process that would work toward that goal.

They want all the federal dollars they can get but they refuse to state accurately how many of those dollars they should have and, in fact, will interfere with attempts to make such an assessment.

New York should lead this, they (Dem candidates) benefit greatly from illegal voting.

I don’t get it.

Why are liberals outraged?

Illegal aliens will still be counted.

All citizens, immigrant citizens, will be counted.

Are they against having documented evidence of how many foreign born and/or illegals are in this country?

The feel the need to file a lawsuit over a simple one line question on a census form?

The census is a constitutional requirement and power of the federal government. Immigration policy is a power given to the federal government, as blue states have repeatedly confirmed very loudly.
Since these states insist that states have no responsibility to get involved in immigration (a sole power of the feds), why do they feel they have a responsibility to get involved in census operations (also a sole power of the feds)?

Opponents argue that given U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions's crackdown on illegal immigration adding a citizenship question will frighten people in immigrant communities from responding to the census, making the numbers inaccurate.

They must mean, making their numbers accurate, not artificially inflated to artificially inflate Dem representatives in Congress.

“Opponents argue that given U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s crackdown on illegal immigration adding a citizenship question will frighten people in immigrant communities from responding to the census, making the numbers inaccurate.”

Maybe not. Illegals may just lie and say that they are U.S. citizens. I would think the dems would encourage to do so.

I have no problem putting the question on the census but I also have no delusions that doing so will result in an accurate counting of illegals in this country.

The "open borders" politicians and their constituents don't want our US Constitution telling them what to do....notice how infrequently a liberal ever mentions our Constitution....without that and its laws, we are not a sovereign nation...

The United States Constitution is the glue that holds our nation together...DEMAND OUR ELECTED FOLLOW THOSE LAWS....NO TO SOCIALISM!

Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) accused the Trump administration of trying to steal Congressional seats from states with large immigrant communities.

Or could the inverse be true? Could it be that cities like New York are trying to steal seats, power and Federal cash from states that are not so welcoming to illegal aliens?

“We have seen this pattern from this administration and from other Republicans to cheat at democracy, to cheat the system, to suppress the vote, to demand things like voters IDs so that minority groups will have fewer voters and we’ve seen it work. We must stop it,” he said.

Again, might it be the inverse is true? Might it be that Democrats are cheating at democracy?

Is it fair to inflate the representation of your state with illegal aliens who do not have the right to vote?

Is it fair or honest to have the dead and illegal aliens vote?

Is it honest to have a voter roll that has not been purged of people that are dead or have moved out of the state?

Is it an honest election if a person can just walk in to vote and claim to be anyone and not be asked to prove that they are who they say they are?

I don't understand how asking if one is a citizen in any way suggests that a non-citizen is here illegally.

Legal and non-legal residents would both answer "no" to the citizen question. What's the problem with that?

They know that the census numbers will prove massive voter fraud in blue states. It will negate any claim Hillary has to winning ‘the popular vote.’ And, it will reduce the amount of federal dollars/grants going into sanctuary states, since those dollars will be based on the needs of actual American citizens, not illegals. Sanctuary states depend heavily on federal dollars to provide full services to illegals.
