I believe In N’ Out is still regional.
In and out isn’t all over the country, it’s only in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Texas, and Oregon.
Never heard of them..............
There’s no In-and-Out here in the East. The only reason I have even heard of the chain is because they keep getting on Internet lists of popular restaurants.
In mine, Chick-Fil-A is 3 blocks or so away. My kid works there, makes great money, enjoys it and is treated very well.
He won a big award last year. For his ceremony, we requested a few things like a commendation from our city and the governor.
I also found the email address for the CEO of CFA. He responded personally within an hour. Very impressive.

In-N-Out is regional. only two regions so far: central california and dallas metro and vicinity. 3rd is on its way for Denver metro and vicinity.
