It’s all in the hands of Robert Mueller and Jeff Sessions.

Yet what has Mueller done? Aside from Manafort, the Mueller investigation has netted some process crimes and indicted a pack of Russians who will never stand trial. Leaks from his organization (in my view, deliberate and strategic to keep the press on the “muh Russia” trail) have had reporters running from the Deutsche Bank to the Seychelles with absolutely nothing to show for it. Moreover, he keeps numerous Deep Staters in the employ of the FBI where, although being systematically demoted and de-fanged, they cannot leak. Meanwhile. . . snip

Now you see why Sessions and Horowitz needed a smokescreen. The size of the operation they are conducting is massive, and the perpetrators numerous and very well entrenched. John Gotti took five years to bring to trial after the FBI had the goods on him. Robert Hanssen took two, even though the FBI knew he was a spy. This process is grinding slowly but finely and Robert Mueller is playing his part to perfection.

From the article: “What Mueller has done for over a year is occupy the mainstream media and unhinged NeverTrumpers with an ‘investigation’ that seems to move further away from Donald Trump every day and ever closer to Hillary Clinton, members of the FBI involved in a quasi-coup, and even the Democratic National Committee.”

I’m tired of this 3-D chess. I want some rock-paper-scissors-jail.

Another ‘money’ quote FTA: “With the sole exception of Michael Flynn’s indictment (which can have several explanations that cannot be presented in detail here), all other aspects of Mueller’s probe have seemingly been pointed at Trump, but in reality are much closer to Tony Podesta, his companies, and the propagators of the infamous “Dossier.” Podesta is thought to head the unnamed “Company A” in the indictment of Paul Manafort. Virtually all of Manafort’s dealings are closer to Podesta than to Trump. Then there is the matter of the Uranium 1 indictment last year, which opens the door for further prosecution in that case.

Mueller has provided the perfect smoke screen, with Trump playing his part, constantly denouncing the ‘Witch Hunt’ (yet, interestingly, never actually giving Mueller a nickname).

You can't get it quickly. If they move fast they will lose most of the targets and the public perception will be Political Persecution. This is being done properly for maximumj effect. The goal is to actually take down or cripple the so called Deep State, not make a few spectacular arrests that won't hold up but will make conservatives pump fists and say "YEAHHHHH!"

If you want a real revolution against the totalitarians who have colonized much of the permanent government you have to lay all the blocks of the foundation one by one, not try to put the roof on before you even get the pad poured.

I wish it were true but I doubt it.....conservatives like freepers had spent decades waiting for “it” to happen...it never has, most likely will never happen...

If true, a big debt of gratitude is owed to the Sessions bashers for keeping the ruse intact.

Kind of hard distinguishing someone who is a do nothing hack and who is a master of the sit and wait for the enemy to hang themselves.

Sessions is quite active, actually. Allayall just want immediate fireworks. If you want to hurry it that’s all you will get. a few high profile but not top heads will get fined, one or two will go to prison and the Deep State will be deeper under cover with the Swamp Clearing initiative having blown its wad.

..... there is the matter of the Uranium 1 indictment last year, which opens the door for further prosecution in that case.....

AG Sessions' appointment of Utah's AG Huber indicates he is zeroing in on

<><>(A) issues surrounding the Clintons Uranium One deals, and,

<><>(B) The Clinton Foundation/State Dept Pay-to-play scandals.

Getting these matters out of the Washington Swamp is significant.

THIS SCENARIO MOST LIKELY INVOLVES POTENTIAL CRIMINALITY

=============================

(hat tip demsux) .....that UTAH AG, the one Sessions appointed (and can seat a grand jury) just so happens to be in the jurisdiction where
much of the Clintons' Uranium One deal was centered. Longshot, but THAT GUY could nab even MUELLER and cancel the insurance policy.........

Using your building ananlogy, at this time, not only has the pad been poured; but we haven’t even got the cement.

We’ve known about the scandals, the lies and yes, even the murders sanctioned by the Democrats and all that has happened is NOTHING.

At the rate this is going, we’ll all be dead before Mueller (and his grandchildren) comes close to wrapping this with a “No reasonable prosecutor.....”

The last thing Mueller and his liberal henchmen are “running cover” for are a few “white hats” that may still remain in the DoJ and the FBI. It used to be that DoJ and Bureau employees would put their political views aside because their jobs required such neutrality, but today politics drives every professional decision and comes before duty to country.

Ya know, it kinda sucks being a realist/pessimist/skeptic. I’ve been waiting with fading hopes since 42 was elected to see one of these bad players face justice, and it’s hard to summon up any enthusiasm that ‘this time, it’s gonna happen.’

Still, I can’t let myself drown in cynicism and believe that there are no honest men left — even in D.C. And, as I get along in years, my desire to hang on a bit longer is fueled by the slim chance that some of these criminals are going to (finally) go down.

Odd incentive to live, I guess, but I need something to hang my hat on. Not asking for pity, but another thing I’ve waited for, but will probably never see...

Well, I’ll let you guess: I live in the Detroit area, so my defacto football team is the Lions. So tired of being on the losing end of things...

I might buy some of this articles premise if

A. Mueller has shown himself to be competent in his past actions. He hasn’t. In fact, he has a history of incompetence mixed with malice and is more interested in covering up the crimes of the FBI. (See his history in the Boston FBI field office).

B. Mueller has stuffed the Russia investigation with Dem lawyers and contributors to Hillary’s campaign. I’ve never even heard mention of a single non-dim lawyer in the group. Ideologically 100% pure.
