The Justice Department failed to meet an initial deadline to give the House Judiciary Committee 1.2 million documents related to the charging decisions in the Hillary Clinton email investigation, possible abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility's recommendation to fire former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

A Republican Judiciary Committee aide told Fox News late Thursday that the Justice Department had "not yet" complied with the March 22 subpoena issued by committee chairman Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va. The aide added that the committee was "working with officials at DOJ to take immediate steps to comply with the subpoena and produce documents to the Committee."

A Justice Department official confirmed to Fox News that the department was "in ongoing communication with Chairman Goodlatte."

Sensitive info need to be redacted?

Oh ya. So the target of the investigation gets to decide what’s sensitive. This blatant criminal behavior. The DoJ suffers from prosecutorial hubris and arrogance. They need to be receive the harshest possible penalties. Bankruptcies and life sentences for these government monsters.

The Deep State is going to delay as long as possible.
Possibly forever.

Look at Fast and Furious.

Ryan wants everything delayed until after the midterms. Goodlatte won’t get squat.

This is 10D chess. Rosenstein, Mueller and Sessions can’t turnover these documents until they have all the deep-staters lined up for indictments. /channeling the idiots at CTH

The DOJ is run by Jeff Sessions. Since many FISA docs are Russia related, and Jeffy has recused himself, it would be the Deputy Director. He has reason to drag his feet. The Clinton Foundation would be largely Sessions. Except for Uranium One, which has a Russia basis, and that would be the Deputy Director.

Sessions is also recused from the Clinton Foundation investigations. See his confirmation hearing transcript.

Someday they will just have to admit which files were on that thumb drive they buried in Sandy Berger’s pants.

Send in the Marines and remove all needed docs. Stop farting around with these two-bit crooks.

That’s strains credulity, doesn’t it? We can’t follow the law because we’re trying to enforce the law. Really we are—’Trust sessions, trust rosentstein, trust mueller’...Just how much oxy is being delivered to that little tree-house in the woods?

My opinion? Sundunce has a DOJ source that's leading him astray, and barking up the wrong treehouse.

I believe that's correct. But all US Attorneys answer to Rod Barsoomian Rosenstein.

Agreed, enough already. I have had it with the abuse and criminals acts, and the lackluster effort to punish those who are behind it.

...many FISA docs are Russia related, and Jeffy has recused himself...

You know, an honest patriot who loves his country and honors his solemn duty, would have resigned, rather than allow the office of AG to remain in such a crippled state.

But Sessions will not rescind his recusal, nor will he step aside. Just stop and consider the implications of that dynamic.

As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the worst acts of betrayal in U.S. history.
