BROOKFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) - A Democratic candidate for governor had to be dragged off a stage by police Monday night in Brookfield.
Police say 57-year-old Lee Whitnum was taken away and arrested under her legal name, Lisa Baker.
The incident happened before a Democratic gubernatorial forum at Brookfield High School could even begin.
Only some of the many people running for governor were invited to speak at the event. Lee Whitnum was not one of them, but she took the stage anyway.
If you have not heard of Whitnum, she has run for officer before calling herself a progressive Democrat.
On her campaign webpage, she seems to have two major issues.
One is campaigning against Zionism, what she calls the racist policies of Israel's government.
The other is bad judges, specifically the one who presided over her divorce. Whitnum has been arrested several times before, including for allegedly stalking the judge who presided over her divorce case.

Clearly, she was removed because the Democrats couldn’t have anyone tell the truth about their positions. Certainly, none of them could have afforded to debate her on the issues and expose their true positions.
Democrats are not afraid to arrest their enemies. Perhaps the Republicans should be taking notes.
