Russia has indisputable data that the chemical attack in the Syrian town of Douma was staged by special services of a foreign country, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.
"The mission of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has set off to Syria not so quickly and without abundant enthusiasm but under our and Syrian pressure. It is due to arrive in Damascus in the morning of April 14th," the Russian foreign minister said.
"We expect the mission to go without any delay to Douma where Russian specialists who examined this place have not found any confirmations of the use of chemical weapons," Lavrov noted.
"We have the irrefutable data that this (chemical attack) was staged," the minister stressed.
"And special services of a country, which is now seeking to be in the first ranks of the Russophobic campaign, were involved in this staged event," Lavrov pointed out.
On April 7, a number of NGO's, including the White Helmets, alleged that chemical weapons were used in Douma, Eastern Ghouta.......

According to this Syria had gotten rid of 98% of its chemical weapons.
In addition it says that operational control of these weapons had been transferred to the Russians. Russia had even less motive than Syria to make/allow this attack.

A critical difference between Russian and American Media. Russian media is propaganda set out to propagandize facts and give the “Soviet” Russian spin which always shows the West in bad light and Russia as the “innocent as a baby’s bottom” propaganda they spew.
American Media is a ideologically biased media where socialistic spin is spewed, that always is critical of the liberty and freedom side of the news. MORE IMPORTANTLY, it is self-critical of the state and often harbors and Anti American spin showing the US in the most negative light possible.
They are both horrendously bad, but Russian Media loves the state.

Not assuming anything. A poster incorrectly stated that Syria was proven innocent in prior allegations of chemical attacks.
This information shows many many chemical attacks. Some of which are proven - others where they were denied access to sites and not proven.
My point is with this developed history of using chemical weapons, Syria would be the obvious first direction a reasonable person or analyst would look to for the wrong, since they have done this a multitude of times before.

As I stated the Russians did nothing. In fact, they didn’t even turn their SAM radars on, realizing we could home in on them if we wished.

The 12er part is involved, some Iranian cleric is saying that he’s here and will lead a war against Israel. Iran has been moving arms and building a proxy army in Syria. That could be the real risk for a major war erupting if it goes unchecked
