OK..then we have a base to work from.

Getting gassed sucks in a big way. Ask any military recruit who went into the gas chamber. You last for maybe...2 minutes for the most hardcore tops. And that’s pretty graceful. Even with weak CS it’s like breathing sand particles on fire. You’d eat a bullet easily if nobody let you out of the box.

Chem is bad. Bio is probably worse (i thankfully wouldn’t know) because you suffer longer. I’d rather that a 500 pounder right in the face.

That stuff is truly nasty.

There is an additional thing that even chlorine drives you out of shelters and then you are getting hit by shrapnel.

I completely agree. Back in the 90’s, the stated US policy was that the triad of nuclear/bio/chem (NBC) weapons being used would draw an automatic US response. I’m not sure when that policy changed, but it’s good to see that it’s back in force.

I was exposed to CS in training. I would certainly agree with your statement. I felt like I wanted to go through a wall, just to get away from that stuff.
