He’s trying to win re-election, but LaPage might win...so CNN is trying to make him look like a leader...
Asked if the WH presented any evidence that chemical weapons had been used. He says no, doesn't think so, that evidence is coming later supposedly.
King defends the use of force to take out chemical weapons, and also defends the strike overall.
King notes that Congress has abdicated the power to declare war.
Tapper asks if the Obama admin was naive in 2013, trusting Russia to restrain Syria. Both Tapper and King agree Trump was right, Russia failed to restrain Syria. King notes that Syria is still bombing its own people.
Asks about NYT story that criminal investigation into Cohen, and the claim that investigation is more threatening to Trump than SC Mueller, and could show evidence of Russian collusion. King agrees and adds that it is most important to (pretend) that the NY investigation is unrelated to Mueller's investigations.
Preet up next ...
Slippery James Comey, a man who always ends up badly and out of whack (he is not smart!), will go down as the WORST FBI Director in history, by far!@realDonaldTrump 9:07 AM - 15 Apr 2018
Former FBI Director James Comey is going to be an inescapable presence this week. ...the stakes will only grow when Comey appears Sunday night in a special edition of ABC's "20/20" for a sit-down with news anchor George Stephanopoulos. ...
Other stops for Comey ... include interviews with Fox News's Bret Baier, CNN's Jake Tapper and PBS's Judy Woodruff. ...
On April 25, Comey ... will appear at a town hall on CNN hosted by Anderson Cooper at Comey's alma mater of William & Mary.
He will appear on ABC's "The View" and CBS's "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," in addition to MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show." ...
Anti-Trump books have been doing well. Michael Wolff's "Fire and Fury" continues to land on The New York Times best-seller lists months after its release.
Nikki Haley on Fox News Sunday:
“Assad got reckless we cant allow even the smallest use of chemical weapons this easily could happen in the United States if were not smart.”
I wonder what kind of intel she has been looking at, to make this comment?????
The media is less trusted than Congress. They continue to sink to low levels, with the curse of liberalism.
Jones probably heard there were Con Trails being dispersed from the cruise missiles.
If Lizzy Warren were President would she only send Tomahawk missiles?
He also names Rosenstein as having approved of the search. He refers to the brief by prosecution, Cohen is barely a lawyer, he is a fixer.
Asked to weigh in on Comey's saying it is possible that Trump hired prostitutes to pee on the bed. Preet's view of Comey is that he is not a liar, he does not make things up. When Comey says that Trump asked for personal loyalty, Preet believes Comey.
Preet, speaking of Mueller, speaks ONLY of a case of obstruction.
Asked about the pardon of Libby, do you think the pardon is a shot at Comey, sending a signal to Flynn, how do you interpret it? Preet agrees that all of Tapper's speculation is right on the money.
Preet says there are thousands of people prosecuted by over-aggressive federal prosecutors. Interesting. He says that Trump's use of pardon of Libby is an abuse of the pardon power.
CNN's focus is on the Cohen raid and Stormy Daniels.
CNN is suffering from mental illness. The talking heads eyes look disturbed.
You might be right...we shall see over the next few weeks or so. I might remind you that Hillary Clinton has gone her various rants and raves for the last fifteen months, probably has sold millions of her book “What Happened”, but she remains a total “ZERO” with the overwhelming majority of the American people!!! Stand by.

used to discover crude oil.

Seems in less than ten days after the Haitian earthquake huge oil reserves, bigger than Venezuela, were discovered, who knew?

I bet he thinks Limerick is in Ireland, Denmark in Europe, Norway in Europe, China in Asia, Manchester in England, Trenton in New Jersey, Livermore in California, Paris in France, Bangor in England, Enfield in England and Portland in Oregon along with Owl’s Head part of an owl. (All Maine towns)
Exactly! My bigger question is how or why did Sessions allow this to happen?I think the DOJ should have gotten rid of the mule team, many at the FBI and DOJ some time ago.
If Sessions cant protect our potus who can?
ABC says Wolff's book, Steele dossier, etc. are all true. LOL.
Call on the Republicans to remove Trump's criminal enterprise from the scene.
Anticipating he will be spewing noxious phrases of nothingness and loads of foul smelling crap. Our very own pride and joy.
Lol most likely she would send fliers that say run for your life kemo sabe....
Comey simply wants to take the money and run. He is not trustworthy. The only second of truth, is more doubt about
Lynch. His book is not offering much news. The media
was wishing and hoping for more from Comey. He will soon walk away, after his book obligations are gone with the wind.
His resentment and greed was his motivation.
Some people are barely married -- and never perform their "marital duties" -- but they still have the spousal privilege against incrimination.
It's strange that some lawyers are arguing against attorney-client privilege in this case, since much of what lawyers goes far beyond simply filing briefs and appearing in court, and attorneys are sworn not to do anything that hurts the legal profession.
Preet says there are thousands of people prosecuted by over-aggressive federal prosecutors. Interesting. He says that Trump's use of pardon of Libby is an abuse of the pardon power.
It sounds like he's trying to straddle the fence on this, and please both sides.
Yeah, Sessions should be a fixer like Holder was. Rolls-eyes.
Simply out of respect for keeping the peace on FR, I'm not going to argue with people who throw darts at Sessions. I have a pretty long list of Freepers that I then to disregard, tune out, ignore for that reason; and if it comes to it (as it did during Libby trial), I'll just not view or participate on FR at all. No skin off my ass.
Great commentary as usual. Trump gave us all a preview of his willingness to straight talk, and street fight during the primaries. He one by one felled the great trees of the swamp, and then focused on the opposition when we saw him call out Chuck S. The media came to the rescue only to be shown that they were taking on a skilled practicioner of there sandbox in a manner that they never thought would happen. The world also is seeing a real leader/ man and not a scripted actor at the helm. On ward and upward Donald we are with you.
