I’m somewhat sympathetic in that society has chosen to encourage the kind of delusional behavior he exhibited rather than trying to help him face reality, but it was ultimately his decision.

I’ve recovered nicely. Nothing a short sleeve shirt can’t hide. They originally thought I might lose my left ear. The smell of hot antifreeze still nauseates me.
