The Israeli pipeline has too many points where it can be sabotaged. Seems better to have a facility for loading LNG onto tankers, from which they can go wherever gas is wanted.

Yes, the word has been out for some time. The pipeline could reduce Europe's dependence on Russia, and Russia doesn't like that. And the fact that Russia wants to own Europe is certainly not breaking news.
