Comey said he believed concealing such a move would be 'catastrophic' to the FBI, while telling Congress would be 'really bad'
Clinton wrote in her own book that she felt like she was 'shived' by Comey, as the letter quashed her momentum 11 days before the 2016 election
'I mean, that sounds like I was trying to knife somebody, I was out to get her,' Comey told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos
Comey said he couldn't both be helping Clinton, as the Trump people believed, and hurting her, as allies of Clinton cried after he sent out the October letter In a new interview, former FBI Director James Comey says he hopes Hillary Clinton reads his new book, so she understands why he sent that October 28, 2016 letter to Congress, which turned out to be disastrous to her campaign.
'I even hope that Hillary Clinton at least reads those parts of the book, because I think she will walk away saying, "You know what? I still think that guy is an idiot, but, you know, he's kind of an honest idiot. He's trying to do the right thing here,"' Comey said to USA Today.

Comey appears to be none of these things. I suspect Comey may believe he's honest, and it's possible to sincerely believe this for a person who is not honest with himself.
There is something really really really wrong and off with this guy --- he seems like maybe there is absolutely no awareness of the difference between his self image and who and what he actually is in the universe. There is a great display of humility, but there is none there. What there is, is a healthy dose of martyr and victim syndrome, which is often coupled with the grandiosity and moral self-righteousness.

Yep, she should be thanking him. He opened the Weiner case and closed it close to the election to HELP her. Comey was so sure Hillary was going to win, and it would be a landslide, that he needed to clear her before the election so there wouldn’t be any investigations after she was elected. Given the MSM said she’d win big, Comey though she could withstand the loss of a few votes.
That caught my eye, too, and I don't think it was the first time I'd seen that spelling. My instinct was that there should be two, but I didn't bother to look it up...

That’s what I don’t get. The loyalty to the Clintons. You get behind their lawlessness and you lose your job and/or reputation. The list is long. Huma Abedine, Donna Brazille, Comey, Rosenstein, McCabe, etc. etc. While she skates away laughing. Every single time. Really proves their stupidity for putting themselves on the line for her illegal activities.

I would imagine the Hillary conversation goes like this...
Tom Hagen: When a plot against the Emperor failed... the plotters were always given a chance... to let their families keep their fortunes. Right?
