The increase in the atmospheric trace gas of CO2 has so far failed to deliver the catastrophic consequences predicted by the alarmists like Al Gore. The headlines about "the end of snow" are now an embarrassment after a winter of abundant frozen precipitation. At least a decade ago, the fraudsters relabeled their purported peril "climate change," allowing any unusual weather to be blamed on mankind's use of fossil fuels.
Now another rebranding is being proposed. Michael Walsh noticed, at PJ Media:

"Luddite" is a good term, for it connotes opposition to the Industrial Revolution, which was (and remains in its "Information Age" version) dependent on the combustion of carbon-based fuels for electrical generation and transportation. The longing for some imagined paradise of living in harmony with nature is even more pervasive in modern history.

I was listening to an old Art Bell show on this subject.
The year: 2005.
Art asked his “global warming” “expert” what the effects would be in the next five to ten years.
The answer:
“Florida would have so many hurricanes it would be uninhabitable—no-one will live there any more”.
“The Eastern seaboard coastal areas will be flooded and most beach-front property will have to be abandoned”.
Hilariously _wrong_.
Since those predictions were made real-estate prices in the areas have sky-rocketed.
Rebranding this “global warming” garbage just makes it a bigger pile of garbage.
It's a mass suicidal psychosis.

What I didn't understand when I read 1984 was where Big Brother and his henchmen got their support, i.e. who kept them in power. Now I know. Half of America supports Big Brother. America's children--and much of its older population--have been thoroughly indoctrinated. They apparently see 1984 as a blueprint for utopia.

Actually they are winning- We’re all paying much much more for practically everything because of draconian Carbon requirements that cripple businesses and force them to raise prices- The major price increase3s started under the obama administration after he passed regulations

When it is an agenda and not natural science, you can change the name of the “issue” to meet that agenda as often as you want.
