With the Islamic State in retreat and anti-regime rebels losing ground, Iranian-backed armed groups in Syria are turning the focus of their militancy to U.S. troops on the ground.
Western military officials and independent analysts have long said it was only a matter of time before U.S. forces on the ground in Syria were targeted by militias. Now, this weekends U.S.-led airstrikes on alleged chemical weapons installations could hasten such attacks.
The militias have always had this anti-American tone, but when you have one threat after another, you see theyre trying to send a specific message, says Phillip Smyth, a scholar at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy who has been tracking Iranian-backed militias in Syria.

Make Iran Glass Again.
This is the Iranian regime working closely with Putin, right?
POST OF THE DAY!!!
We have 2000 guys there, right? So I imagine our options are to either pull them out, or bolster the numbers up to a force sufficient to engage in sustained direct conflict.
But this is scare propaganda I suspect to draw us into the war.
All Iranian troops - al Qods - Hezbollah with Lebanese Army, various smaller groups under the command of Iranian General Q. Soleimani. Drive Americans out in preparation for an Iranian major direct attack on Israel.
Once US forces leave, the flag goes up. In increasing isolation, a worried Israel leadership now beefing up northern forces in preparation for the coming war. Without US presence in the region, Israel will have a numbers problem up against battle hardened Iran and Syrian forces. Any aid that the US could give, absent pre-existing presence, will come too late to be of much use.
US leaves, Israel falls, despite all the Biblical rhetoric and advanced weaponry; it just does not have the numbers.
Iranian oil pipeline to the Med will become a reality, as will Iranian naval bases on the Med.
This source of this report is Linda Grahams office, right?
Lindsey Graham; “it’s time to go big!”
Even if it isn't, the US troops are an invasion force in Syria. With ISIS minimalized, Assad and the allies he chooses should control his territory.
Allah be praised that Husain Obama sent them millions in crates of unmarked cash and freed up billions more for them to fund these military operations against our troops,
Actually, the President allows the Generals to develop the troop strength to obtain specific objectives.
By calling for pull out, the President induces a discussion of all sides of the issue without actually effecting troop levels or disturbing the current reality
That’s been said of Israel before, despite statements of disbelief in Bible prophecy. Israel has numbers we just can’t see...!
And she has nukes!
Saudi Arabia’s Gulf States Army is going in and will wipe them out.
Way past time to leave.
Nothing in the past outcomes of our interventions in Iraq and Trashcanistan indicate that our involvement in Syria will have a good outcome.
And these people are not worth our blood and treasure.
Get our troops out!
Israel has numbers we just cant see...! And she has nukes!

And neither can its military leadership, oddly (must be one of those super secret inventions that only a collective body of Jews could invent: an invisible army which only appears when it is needed) ... Iran (according to some) has nukes as well ...
“The U.S. military presence in northern Syria numbers around 2,000 Army, Marine, and special operations forces, alongside smaller numbers of U.K. and French personnel. In addition, at least 5,500 Defense Department contractors, half of them U.S. citizens, are spread throughout Syria and Iraq, according to a report issued by U.S. Central Command this month.”
Oh, heck yes. These guys sound like real pushovers.

When US personnel, military or private, describe a situation as a “turkey shoot”, like they do in this video, it means that they are dropping enemy like dominoes.
Scoffers denied before 1948 that Israel would ever be a nation again...even scoffers of prophecy like yourself...yet here she is!
She has miraculously survived wars in 48,56,67,73 against forces and nations much larger than she...yet here she is!
She has larger forces in her favor that we can’t see...but you are assessing and trusting in what you think you can see with your eyes...so of course you can’t see them.
Now if Iran has nukes..that might not be such a bad thing...as a little mutually assured destruction doctrine might cool things off. Israel if threatened with an overwhelming force will go nuclear and if the forces arrayed against her know this, even conventional warfare with Israel will have to pause. Israel can launch it’s own sattelites and probably could put nukes into Moscow and Dc if they wished....they have subs as well. Do you get the point of the Sampson option?...Israel will go down taking a lot of folks with her!
She has larger forces in her favor that we cant see...but you are assessing and trusting in what you think you can see with your eyes...so of course you cant see them.

And as I said neither can its military leaders. So you are just talking Bible stuff.
This war would be totally different - Israeli forces have never faced battle hardened troops nor mass missile launches designed to overwhelm its missile defenses. All the previous wars were about 10 years apart so the tech was close. This one would be over 50 years later; a lot has changed in mil tech.
On the contrary we need them there for an excuse to get more involved
