Comey appointed Fitzgerald as Special Prosecutor in the Plame Case. What was unusual was that Fitzgerald was answerable to no one.

I'm getting sick of this catch all "lying to the FBI" noose.

If Comey had done his investigation properly, he would have found the real outer.....cuz it wasn't Scooter.

Exactly. He wasn't interested in finding the real outer Richard Armitage

Comey and Fitzgerald are well acquainted. Fitzgerald is a godfather to one of Comey's daughters ... the whole thing is incestuous.

Oh, he knew full well that Libby wasn’t the “outer” (as if that word even had any meaning at all in the context of Valerie Plame) early on. It was known by all that Richard Armitage was “responsible”, again, if that word even should apply.

But they put the screws to Libby. It is my hope that we see these scum on the left get real and just law applied to them. As much as I would enjoy seeing them unjustly railroaded (thus increasing their outrage) I think the evidence is sufficient to do it the old fashioned just way.
