I know lots of teachers who think just like you. And one would think a teachers union would not undermine member benefits in the name of leftism.
I even remember some teachers who TAUGHT about the constitution.
I surmise that a small number of union bosses, likely members of the “pro-choice” Democratic Party, made this decision. Correction welcome.
Well, Wells Fargo may be a $hit bank, but at least they stand up for the 2A, so they will continue to be our $hit bank. We’ve tried unsuccessfully to get away from WF on three separate occasions only to have WF buy the new bank to which we moved.
They’re evil. Wells Fargo was written off my list years ago. They wanted my finger print to cash a $20 check from their own bank. Another branch admitted they don’t check signature cards. One branch manager went to a funeral and then practically demanded I dig up the dead body so it could take its name off a non profit club’s account. I spent two hours arguing with them wanting all of my info on things not related to the account and finally just walked up to a teller and wrote a check for the balance (and me not even on the account) told them what they could to with the zeroed out account.
And don’t get me started on all their loans to illegals.
Before you sing the praises of Wells Fargo too loudly...

Fair enough - Now if we could just get a successful lawsuit /fine(or two) like that one against the NEA for the frauds, lies and other mis-deeds that they have inflicted.
For the time being - Wells Fargo has moved onto my short list as a replacement institution for my B of A credit card.
BTW - what PERFECT bank are you using these days?
And we let these morons teach our children?!
My imperfect bank is a credit union.
