Yeah, that line should run across N. Illinois (pinch off Chitcago and give it to Wisconsin), east from the southern end of Lake Michigan across Indiana, south along the Indiana/Ohio boarder then east to include Kentucky and West Virginia. Then back south along the SE Kentucky boarder to Tennessee.

Adds a good chunk of red land and gives access to the Great lakes.
