Sessions is like a parent who sees his toddler stumbling out in traffic and says, "Time to get out of the street now."

Erik Holder was twice the AG that Sessions turned out to be. Can you imagine Holder having a fun dinner with someone who illegally appointed a special council to throw Obama out of office? Neither can I.

It doesn't matter if Jerkwater Jeff manages to save a little face in all this: he has already - and single-underhandedly caused more pain to Trump than any other individual in all branches of the government.

Yes. It’s difficult to watch especially when DJT has the entire media beating on him constantly.

That is a legally dubious road to pursue. Let’s say for argument’s sake that he did launder money. You can’t prosecute a sitting President. Impeachment is a political process so Congress could impeach for almost anything but is very high bar.

I suspect if they started looking they would find that he sold apartments to Russians, and Chinese, and all kinds of people. Foreign money may have financed certain projects. But this would have been when he was a private citizen, and all legal. To win the political PR battle they would need to connect it to his job performance, like, if Putin gave him $145 million and then Trump signed off on the transfer of US based energy assets... that would be a bad thing.
