Just scrap that correspondents’ dinner going forward; what the hell is the value added in keeping it? Most of those leftist hacks despise Trump and his family and savor every chance to show it. What’s the point in trying to make nice with enemies who despise your very being?
Everyone connected to the WH should boycott the event, not just Trump and some others. That would delegitimize it.

The Leftists should be encouraged to expose themselves more and more, and the White House Correspondence Dinner is a very good, high-profile, way to do it.
