NBC News on Thursday corrected its report that federal agents had placed a wiretap on phone lines associated with President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen.
The news outlet updated its initial report to reflect that Cohen’s phones were subject to a "pen register," which allows investigators to create a log of phone calls associated with Cohen’s number.
Its original story, which reported the wiretap, cited two separate sources with knowledge of the proceedings. However, three senior U.S. officials later disputed the report, prompting the correction.

Actually, I’d bet the original story was true. They realized it revealed illegality on the Mueller raiders’ part - oops - and are now trying to rewrite reality.

Too bad Jeff Sessions died or I’m sure he would have done something about this abortion of constitutional rights by the FBI.
Maybe they forgot to get a warrant and need to walk it back. Or they exceeded the warrant. This could get really interesting. Where is Sessions???

Justice could be that those responsible for FAKE NEWS are eventually hanged by the neck until dead.
These attacks of Fake News are deliberate and with malice and forethought. Those involved in any way with this Criminal Enterprise should all be taken down on RICO, tried in court and taken to death row.
