Breitbart ^ | 4 May 2018 | John Nolte

Posted on 05/04/2018 1:33:46 PM PDT by detective

The growing attempt to personally destroy superstar Kanye West has moved to Detroit where a radio station has banned the superstar’s music.

The fallout continues against Kanye West is growing. Case in point, the hashtag #MuteKanye, which is part of a left-wing campaign to silence and marginalize West.

In the spirit of that movement, Detroit radio station 105.1 The Bounce has announced that going forward West’s music is blacklisted.

He was doing fine...until his bizarre slavery comments. That’s when the wheels came off. I agree with Toni Lahren...conservatives need to steer clear of Kanye. For now.

Folks, don’t worry about it.

They are attempting to go Dixie Chicks on Kanye.

Here is why I don’t think it’ll work.

1. The Dixie Chicks were bad mouthing the sitting President. Kanye did just the opposite. These “slavery was a choice” comment is a canard. He is being attacked for liking Trump.

2. The Dixie Chicks were nasty and defiant in their hatred of the President. Kanye is, at this point, speaking kindly and about ‘love’.

3. African Americans have already demonstrably shown a willingness to listen to Kanye—evidenced by the recent Reuters poll of black males support for Trump. Now this may very well be a blip. But the more the water is stirred, the better it’ll be for the Constitution and America.

4. The Dixie Chicks were operating in an environment where radio was much more important than it is today. So many more venues exist to obtain musical product than radio.

Feel free to disagree, I’m willing to listen.

But in my estimation, this is showing us MORE about the black radio stations than it is about Kanye.

“He was doing fine...until his bizarre slavery comments.”

That is an outright lie.

He was immediately attacked and threatened for supporting Trump and the dishonest misrepresentation of his slavery comments by the media is disgusting.

He said that when people talk about 400 years of slavery(meaning they are still slavers today) that is their choice.

Blacks are told to choose to be victims. Kanye said no I won’t.

Love watching the left hang themselves with those minorities that are truly becoming woke. Lefties just continue to prove Kanye’s point. Trust me. The power grows. These leftist fascists continue to dig their own grave by just being themselves. Kanye is just being Kanye and speaking his mind. It will and already has opened some minds. And given others courage. We no longer care what the left has to say about us. That day is over since Trump. We are being shown what a pair of balls looks like again. They can’t destroy anymore. Their power is being taken away and our is growing.

I think that the numbers are the telling factor. It is likely that there are more than enough rational black Americans that will take the Kanye message to heart and join his effort.

If as few as only 5% of the Black Hillary voters see the light, Kanye has succeeded. Any more than that is icing on the cake.

The truth is that many, even most, of the black people that listen to that station do not vote any way.

Then there is more. Perhaps a few, even a very few will make their agreement known and slip their plantation shackles. When these voices join, the percentage might grow to 10 %.

How many transmission and Internet radio stations in the world play Hip-Hop and Rap music? Do these people think that one station boycotting an artist will hurt him?

I heard it’s the top hip-hop station in Detroit.

Maybe it has a national influence, like Cousin Brucie in the 60s.

The Dixie Chicks were a good example of musicians destroying their career over politics. The majority of country music listeners are conservative. I'm a country music fan and even to this day, I immediately change the channel when one of their songs come on - which fortunately is much less frequently as they haven't had a hit in a long time.

I don't know anything about the music of Kanye West. I literally had to Google him when this controversy broke to find out who he even was. I then linked to one of his YouTube music videos and 45 seconds was all I could stand of it.

I wish him well and I appreciate his support of the president but I think he's doing it more for personal reasons than political reasons (he was evidently friends with Trump before he even got into politics). So he might be getting a bad rap here (pardon the pun). If I could tolerate his music, I'd listen to it to support him but sorry, I cannot stand it!

Entertainers and business people should really stay out of politics. One way or another, you are going to piss off around 50 percent of your potential customers if you take your politics to work with you. Why would you do that?
