Sessions gives an “explosive” speech? I’m not seeing the “humor” tag. Should I add one?

“And he’s giving him 35 prosecutors, and ICE is getting a new head. If it was just Sessions “desperately” trying to “seek relevance,” why would the others be at this event, making speeches and staring down leftard hecklers along with him.”

Not sure who he and him are in your first sentence. What others were with him, making speeches and least impressive of all, “staring down leftist hecklers along with him”? And is the success rate of the caravan still 100%?

Watch the video. You can fulminate at the mere mention of the name “Sessions” later.

AG is now ordering away the National Guard? Your question is for Trump.

“Get back to me once Sessions explains why he hired
a known Dem -Clinton operative named Rosenstein as his second in command and then recused himself .”

From Wiki, and as is easily refutable by looking at the US Constitution:

President Donald Trump nominated Rosenstein to serve as Deputy Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice on February 1, 2017. Rosenstein was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on April 25, 2017.

Trump hired Rosenstein, not Sessions. The US Senate with a Republican majority confirmed him, not Sessions.

Also from Wiki, and easily refutable by looking at the NY Times Index or any other secondary source:

In May 2017, he authored a memo which President Trump said was the basis of his decision to dismiss FBI Director James Comey.[5] Later that month, Rosenstein appointed special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate ties between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election and related matters.[6]

He got Comey fired, and he appointed a special counsel when he was called on to do so by Sessions’ recusal. Dem operative? So then why did Trump want him? Sure, he has turned out to be a bad actor, but neither Trump nor Sessions foresaw that, and firing Comey was a good thing.

Ha. If Sessions gave an explosive anything, I’d take a guess he was passing wind. He does an incredible imitation of a plaster garden elf.

The deep-state compromised rat bastard, Jeff Sessions, chose Rosenstein as his deputy attorney general. Not by chance either.

Pull till ya hear a pop.

I watched about 6 minutes of this and was very disappointed. Sessions reminds me of a whipped dog.

Perhaps he is another example of the Peter Principle in action.

By now, I don’t believe sessions had any intentions of helping Trump in the AG position. Such a huge let down and disappointment for sessions to sit on his laurels and do absolutely nothing.. who can Trump trust at this point? They either pay off or threaten family to get them to turn on Trump. And I wonder about Giuliani.. why in the world did he let his mouth run off like he did... just more days and days of the one story I was sick of ... on the fake media. I don’t believe Trump gave him the authority to talk about it that night.

Yea, you’re going to say he is pro Trump all the way... but in the past so many have turned on him... who knows... he did open that can of worms again!! when better left alone.

Heard the whole video. Not impressed, not only because the Patreon Network is very one-sided, but because it’s unlikely that Congress can hold in contempt anyone other than Mueller and Rosenstein and their subordinates in the Special Counsel. Sessions recused himself from the investigation and for good reason. He didn’t authorize a witch hunt, and he doesn’t want to be caught in the cross-fire of one now, just as three judges are taking whip and chair to it.

But look at what you all are doing. You’re judging intentions in hindsight based on unforeseen results. When Sessions came on board the Trump Team in ‘16, he was backing a longshot, because the polls, as fake as they were, predicted a Hillary win. When he became AG, the choice was highly praised, and there was no special prosecutor, and Mueller was in private practice.

Now you’re judging backwards from the present bad situation that Sessions had malicious intent from the getgo. That not only doesn’t wash, but is giving the leftardians exactly what they want: Dissent among Trump supporters, deplorables (us) on the one hand, against Sessions on the other. Trump is not throwing anyone under the bus. So long as he stands by Sessions, so will I. And when he sets aside DOJ lawyers especially to prosecute illegal invaders, I’ll applaud him. That’s action and that is Trump’s agenda #1.

Here, incidentally is Rudy’s view of the goings-on in justice.

Except he’s not doing much to prosecute illegal immigration and violations of immigration law at all. Looking to hire less than 20 attorneys and otherwise going back to sleep.

35 attorneys, 18 judges. That’s at around 2:00-3:00 if you want to look it up. Here’s the link again, if you don’t care to go to the start of the thread. Should it be more than 35 prosecutors and 18 judges? Sure. But they have a nasty habit of wanting to be paid, and the budget deal forced on POTUSDJT is pointedly stingy about border enforcement.
