Madeleine L’Engle is a favorite Christians children’s author of mine ... they took all her references to a Christian god but left in her references to other religions. they de Christianized the story. I plan on watching it one day but decided that it will have to wait to a point in time where Disney does not feel it was rewarded for this travesty. big problem with any movie made from any Christian author who deals in the philosophical when you remove all vestiges of a judeo Christian belief system.

Before doing that, go read the IMDB reviews of it. I looked at the first dozen or so. All had one star.
