BUT those kind of comments destroy the fun of the nonstop pity party. The uglier truth is that as a percentage of population blacks overwhelmingly commit the most crimes of any demographics group - which might influence how they're seen in possible criminal circumstances.
That said there are hundreds of thousands of black citizens who "sit in a Starbucks coffee shop; eat at a Waffle House; and work out at a gym;" with no problem whatsoever. A testament to the fact that all of us make an effort to go beyond stereotypes - negative and positive ones - and treat each other with dignity.
