These are among the many, many antics alleged by Mountainside police officers and borough employees against other officers in a recently filed lawsuit — a 46-page tale that suggests the craziest things happening in the teeny, sleepy, fewer-than-7,000-residents borough of Mountainside have been occurring inside the police department.

Sounds like somebody didn’t get promoted and they didn’t like that.
Oh no, they got promoted, with the lowest test scores. This is a department in my neighboring town. I feel bad for the honest ones and the spouses and children of these nuts.
I also live nearby...hard to believe this happens in such a small police department. Makes u think where else similar stuff like this goes on.
Damn, sounds like a fun place to work.

The target comes back into the break room, picks up his soda and takes a sip. All of a sudden, he gets a concerned look on his face and says; "Hey, why is everybody giggling?"

Sounds reasonable. I’m sure theres some embellishment of the some of the facts but I’ve seen similar behaviors in several police departments that I have been directly associated with. I had one department when I was City Manager that was so upset with the janitor that the male officers smeared their own shit all over the walls of their restroom and the females hung their tampons on the door knobs and piled up their kotex on the floor by the toilet.
The video was some guys horsing around.
Everyone was laughing including the guy who was getting “harassed.”
It’s New Jersey. This is the very least of the problems living here.

HA! You’ve got to be joking. No way anyone would fess up and then the union stepped in and claimed that because they didn’t think the janitor was doing a good job it was going to file a grievence for poor working conditions!
