The “Sensitive Matter Team”

Newly-examined emails among high-ranking U.S. intel officials at the time—including then-Director James Comey and his chief of staff James Rybicki—reference a “sensitive matter team.”

Based on the context of the emails, the “sensitive matter” appears to be the Trump-Russia narrative, and political opposition research funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. The research— known as the “Steele dossier”— was peddled to the press and secretly used, in part, to justify controversial FBI wiretaps against at least one Trump associate.

The emails were first obtained by the Justice Department Inspector General and recently turned over to the Senate Homeland Security Committee. Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin) wrote a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray Monday asking for the identity of all members of the “sensitive matter team.”

According to Sen. Johnson’s letter, Comey chief of staff Rybicki emailed unidentified recipients on the morning of Jan. 6, 2017 stating, “[Director Comey] is coming to HQ briefly now for an update on the sensitive matter team.”

It would sure help if the payment to Fusion-GPS could be exposed - in detail - and be put to bed. [Comey], to this day, says he has no idea who funded the Pee-Pee Dossier.

Well, here's a suggestion: Do a 2am raid of [Perkins-Coie], the homes of all of their attorneys, and any recently-used hotel rooms by their attorneys, run out all of their wives in their nighties to the front yard and "toss" the offices and homes.

Perhaps the books will be revealed to show that campaign work (oppo-research) was hidden as legal fees in violation of FEC laws and rules.

The Russia probe is, on its face just crap. First, it has nothing to do with money. Because Trump spent very little money. Hillary spent more than double Trumps spend. So the whole thing is based on whether Trump stole emails or paid to have them stolen from her. Now remember that the emails were going out during her fight with Bernie. So Trump would have had to have stolen the emails before winning the nomination. And how would he know that the DNC would use the password “Password”.

The idea that the Russians were going to negotiate with Trump for emails so they could get something does not make sense. The emails were stolen and quickly released within the same election. There was no time for a deal to be worked out. And its very possible that Hillary’s campaign rejected a deal so the emails were released. If you had blackmail like that, would you go to Hillary’s side to try to get sanctions stopped. Somebody should ask her that question.

But its far more likely that the emails were released because the hackers and wikileaks and most of the rest of the world are sick and tired of Americans believing that their government and their CIA are saintly. The email release is clearly meant to show that the American press and the DNC and the Clinton Foundation are all corrupt and they are playing the American people for personal game and power.

Its as simple as that. A wake-up call to us. Wikileaks is talking to the AMerican people. They are saying; If you don’t understand that the whole thing is corrupt, look at this concrete evidence that even the DNC is not denying.

And by the way, it was far bigger than even the emails suggest. Yes Hillary was running a pay to play scheme. Yes the press was helping Hillary win the presidency by swaying the debates and by swaying their own coverage against even Bernie. But more than that, they were throwing the FBI investigation into Clinton’s emails, they were spying on Trump, and they were trying to stop a duly elected president from taking power. WAKE UP AMERICA.
