Student shootings are horrible events, especially for those who remember dropping off children at schools that look very much like the one near Houston.
Nevertheless, it's good to see that we are not blaming guns or letting left-wing groups use high school students to carry their message.
The Los Angeles Times noticed the difference between South Florida and Houston in this report:
There was no outcry against firearms in Santa Fe after a gunman killed 10 and wounded 13 others Friday. Guns didn't come up at a prayerful vigil attended by 1,000 people that evening. On Saturday, there were no protests, and local leaders don't expect any Sunday.

1-A revolver and a shotgun were used, and that doesn't fit their public narrative.
2-A School Resource Officer stopped the shooting, and that doesn't fit their public narrative.
Texas is (so far) a civilized, conservative state- Floriduh is a nihilist, socialist state. Because of interstate immigration from other socialist states, Texas is increasingly becoming more antifa
Texas has 200 school systems that have enhanced security which involves armed teachers and other personnel. The other 800 or so should be getting on the bandwagon fairly soon.
Note: No one who is trying to do harm will mess with one of the 200 school systems. The school system in Galveston County was not one of the 200 who have deployed the enhanced security.
Totally explains why this event disappeared from the mainstream media coverage in mere hours. Doesn’t fit the gun-confiscation narrative.
If the Democrats want Gun-Control, we can give them Gun-Control.
How about a modified 2nd amendment that makes it illegal for Democrats to own guns?
Its Democrats that are going on killing-sprees with guns, not Republicans.
