I know a few Georgia natives and they are not going to vote for her, that is certain.

But, what are her actual chances of winning? I would figure that wanting to remove the Stone Mountain Carving would be enough to tank her election chances, but can anyone tell me what they think?

I work in Decatur...just next to Atlanta. One of the department heads here is an active member of the Sons of the Confederacy. His group does a lot of Civil War memorial and grave site restoration.

He told me they’ve shown a lot of restraint with all the statue removal going on, but he told me that THE $hit WILL hit THE fan if Stone Mountain is messed with. He had a rather determined look in his eye saying that.

I’m a Yankee to him (native Buckeye), and we trade barbs frequently. I really got him going when I told him that both Generals Sherman and Sheridan were born within a 30 mile radius of my home town.
